The meeting will take place at the Salón de Actos of the Parque Científico, where the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC-UV/CSIC) is placed.

We recommend to use the Valencia's metro/tram system to arrive to IFIC. The tram station TVV (Televisión Valenciana) is the closest to IFIC and it can be reached by any Line 4 tram with final destination Mas del Rosari or Llarga-Terramelar.

From the hotel

Starting from the Catalonia-Excelsior Hotel, we suggest to walk to the tram station Pont de Fusta (15 min walk) where you can get a direct tram to IFIC (Line 4). There are trams each 10 minutes however not all of them go directly to IFIC. If you get one with final destination: Fira or V. Andres Estelles, you must get off at V. Andres Estelles and wait there for the correct one. A one-way trip would not take more than 45 minutes. Once arrived to the Parque Cientifico, please follow the signs.

If you decide to use the metro, the closest station to the hotel is Xativa (Red/Green Line). From there you must find the way to arrive to Empalme station where the L4 trams pass.

From the airport

Starting from the Manises airport (VLC), the fastest way to reach IFIC is by taxi, around 15min and costing 10 euros. Moreover, the airport is well connected to the city by metro (green and red lines). To go to IFIC, you should change to metro yellow line in Angel Guimera station and then change again in Empalme to the tram L4 that goes to IFIC. To go to the hotel, you should get off in Xativa station and walk from there.

From the AVE train station

The closest metro station is Joaquin Sorolla (Line yellow) which is the line that connects with the Empalme metro/tram station. Once arrived there, you should change to the tram L4 and get off in TVV station.

To arrive to the hotel, the best option is to take the free shuttles that connect the AVE station with the Regular trains station. From there it is 5 minutes walking.
