Software Carpentry Workshop - IFT 2017

Software Carpentry aims to help researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation.

Holography and quantum matter

The aim is to bring together experts working on holography and quantum matter, including applications of holography to various aspects of quantum matter and quantum information, as well as fundamental aspects of holography, etc., in order to discuss recent developments and challenges, and promote further developments in these fields.

PASCOS 2017

PASCOS is an annual series of conferences that gathers theorists and experimentalists to report and discuss recent progress in particle physics, string theory and cosmology. The 22nd edition will take place at IFT-Madrid, from 19 to 23 June 2017.

Lattice 2017

The 35th International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory gathers a large community of theoretical particle physics researchers, experts in the study of strongly interacting systems – primarily Quantum Chromodynamics, the theory describing the strong interactions of quarks and gluons.

14th MultiDark Consolider Workshop

Up to now science has failed to identify what makes up to 85% of the matter of the Universe. Elucidating the nature of dark matter constitutes a key challenge in modern physics. MultiDark is a Spanish Project supported by the Consolider-Ingenio 2010 Programme of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.

Entangle This: Tensor Networks and Gravity

A gathering of experts in quantum information theory and quantum gravity to exchange views on the emergent field of interactions between the two disciplines.
