The conference dinner will be on Thursday night at 21h00 in "El Café Gijón" (Paseo de Recoletos 21; see the maps below), downtown in Madrid. The price will be 36 euros, and comprises several meet or fish options. If you are vegetarian please let us know. The simplest is to go walking (approx. 10 - 15 mins), as indicated in this map. Alternatively in Sol you can take the Metro line 2 (red line), direction "Las Rosas", get out in the station "Banco de España" (two stops from Sol), and walk for 5 minutes.
In Atocha railway station take any Cercanias train direction "Chamartin", "Aeropuerto T4", "Fuente de la Mora", "El Escorial" or "Cercedilla", and get out in the station "Recoletos" (only 1 stop from Atocha). Alternatively you can go walking from Atocha, as indicated in this map (approx. 25 - 30 minutes).
