Accommodation

Participants are expected to book their accommodation. A limited number of (20) rooms have been reserved for workshop

participants at the "Residencia de Estudiantes", a historic CSIC guesthouse with a thriving cultural life in downtown Madrid,

close to the "Nuevos Ministerios" train/metro station. You may book a room by contacting the Residence directly at

If you are interested in this possibility, please make sure you reserve your room before 10/01/16. 

In order to formalize the reservation, you should identify your participation in the "Iberian Strings 16" workshop at IFT. Besides personal data, you will be requested to provide credit card details.

Other possibilities are the following:

- To stay in the University campus you have to make a reservation at Residencia Erasmo.

- To stay in the city center: these hotels are very close to Atocha train station and Sol train station, and are therefore well communicated with the workshop venue (see Location tab for details). In this case you will have to make the reservation through the hotels' reservation website.
