6th LISA Cosmology Working Group Workshop, 14-18 January 2019

Home

The 6th LISA Cosmology Working Group Workshop will take place from the 14th to 18th of January 2019 at the Institute of Theoretical Physics (IFT) in Madrid, Spain. It is hosted by the IFT Cosmology  group.

The main aim of the workshop will be to finalize the Working Group's currently ongoing projects and start follow-up work.

More generally, topics that will be covered include:

    First order phase transitions
    Detection of stochastic backgrounds
    Topological defects
Standard sirens and cosmological tests of the late universe
Cosmological probes of general relativity and non standard paradigms
    Inflation and beyond
Primordial black holes and dark matter
    Structure formation

The registration is now open and will remain open until 20 December 2018. Also, please note that the workshop is restricted to LISA members only.

Non-LISA members interested in the workshop should apply for membership, but due to the time delays in the application process, they should apply as soon as possible and definitely some months before the registration deadline. For instructions on the LISA application see here https://signup.lisamission.org/

There will also be an optional three-day technical preworkshop meeting (9-11 January 2019) related to ideas and codes of LISA stochastic background data analysis; see here for more details.

The workshop is supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA), the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and by the Comunidad de Madrid under the Atracción de Talento Investigador programme.
